Voluntary termination on PCP - what should I expect?

Good afternoon,

Bit of a basic question, but I am looking at voluntary termination on my current PCP agreement and I am not sure what to expect. I have definitely paid more than 50 percent of the total amount payable, so in theory I should be able to hand the car back.

If the car has a couple of car park dings and some light scuffs on the bumper, is that usually accepted as reasonable, or do they make a big deal over every tiny defect?

If you have gone through VT on a similar agreement, did the finance company behave reasonably about the condition and the handover?
